Though Wasatch Back run was a whole week ago there's something about my right calf that wont heal. So today's run was a nice and easy 2 miles. I'll be at cross-country for the first time tomorrow morning hopefully ending my lazy summer.

| | Today was my first day of X-Country and it felt... nice. We did the Washington loop, but I didn't get a time. That doesn't matter because next week I'll finally have enough for my Garmin Forerunner 201 (Little Gem Pictured Below) It almost makes working at Arctic Circle worth it am I right guys?... ... ...right?... ...guys?
Also as a little note for you cheapo's Amazon is having a sale on there 101 verions (Below) for $87.99 which is nice considering it has all the features of the 201, but just lacking a rechargable battery and PC connection. If your interested buy here.

| | What a lousy 4th of July. I had a nice 4 mile run planned for today and I was for once actually excited to run it. I was going to start at the waterfall and run along the Virgin River and then loop back over Foremaster to my house. 1 mile into my run I started to think it would really suck if I rolled my ankle on the many rocks I was running over... ironically enough just as that thought passed my mind I hit a rock that rolled my ankle so badly I fell to the ground. The worst part was walking back that mile. The sun beaming down on you and every step I took there was wonderful pain. So those of you on the X-country team don't expect to see me tomorrow. Maybe I'll be back on Friday.... maybe. | Comments(4) |
| | So today was the day I was trying out my ankle for the first time since my roll on Wednesday. It's still sore sadly, but I was able to put in a good mile of running. Even though it was lousy mileage it is still a start. | Comments(3) |
| | I was at scout camp this whole week and since I'm the only one on staff that runs they chose me to be over the fun run. So I got Decker and Jeff to come run with me to find a trail. Just to let you know Kolob sucks as a running place, but we did run past some cool looking road kill. | Add Comment |
| | So today was the fun run and I felt like crap. Why? Because I was full of crap. You see when ever I'm out camping my bowels lock up and nothing comes out. I hadn't pooped since Monday... it's wasn't pretty. If you would like to know more about my bodily functions please post below. | Add Comment |
| | So today I got back and I am recovering from the massive junk I took that nearly plugged my toilet down to the sewer line. Today I finally recieved my Garmin 205 and I took it on a nice 2 mile run. All I have is good things to say about this product. | Comments(2) |

Today I was not present at XC because I'm doing the day's of 47 parade and practice's for those are at 7:00 A.M. In other words don't expect to see me until next Wednesday. (Or you could look for me on the TV) Anyway I did a run today at 12:15 PM because I didn't really want to run very long and I also wanted to work on my tan : ) So I ran a 3 miler today with my garmin and here are the results... 1st mile: 8:12 (This would be a minute shorter if I didn't have to tie my shoes) 2nd mile: 7:45 .96 mile: 7:51 (The heat was really starting to settle in) [UPDATE] Went running again when the power was off. It was fun. | Comments(3) |
| | Tonight was another "I can't sleep so I'll just run for no reason" night. I was trying to go to bed at 12:00 A.M. but I just couldn't sleep. Anyway I started at my house and ran on riverside drive around foremaster and curled back up on foremaster to my house. After my run I went and calculated my miles at www.daftlogic.com/Projects/Google-Maps-Distance-Calculator/ (link below) and it came out to 4.77 miles wich is pretty gosh darn accurate. Anyway I'm starting to feel the sleep getting on. Later. Average/Mi: 7:37 Fastest/Mi: 6:56 Distance calc. Link

| | Man it's nice to get back into running. I'm finally back from my Band Trip at the Day's Of 47 parade. Hope you saw me, they zoomed right into my drum as I was going by. Anyway did the whole XC thing this morning and did a nice smooth light run later at night. I forgot about how having a week long diet of only fast food can really mess with you. | Comments(1) |
